First Look of Design for Frisco ISD High School 12

FISD High School #12 First Look

With the growth in the West Frisco area, Frisco ISD has started the designs for High School #12. The architectural firm, Corgan has been working on designs for the new project that will incorporate feedback from students and staff for what they want in a future school. These designs were presented at the Frisco ISD board workshop on Nov. 1.

The new high school is planned to open in 2022 and will be located adjacent to the future PGA headquarters and golf courses northeast of Teal Pkwy. The school will have more outdoor learning spaces, flexible furniture, writable surfaces, and open spaces. For this new campus, Frisco ISD is focused on six goals:

  • Flexible Environments
  • Central Commons
  • Interaction Opportunities
  • Internal Connections
  • Exterior Connections
  • Outdoor Learning

The funding for High Schoool #12 will be from the 2018 bond program.
