Virtual Start for Frisco ISD

With the COVID-19 pandemic still going strong, Frisco ISD has had to make some adjustments to their 2020-2021 school year plan. With safety in mind for both students and staff, Frisco ISD has made the decision to start off this coming school year in a virtual learning environment for all students.

Although the school year will still start on August 13, 2020, there were changes made to the school calendar to help staff prepare. See the updated school calendar here.

Earlier Frisco ISD gave parents the option to select in-person or virtual learning. So after the first three weeks, those who selected in-person will return to campuses while those who selected virtual learning will continue online. On Thursday, July 23 at 6 p.m. there will be a special Frisco ISD School Board meeting to discuss additional details.
